Board
The Red Cross / Red Crescent Climate Centre holds a special position both within the Netherlands Red Cross and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
In April 2004 the Centre officially became a foundation. The board members are responsible for the management and the policy of the Climate Centre and were selected by the International Federation and the Netherlands Red Cross:
- Mr Ed Nijpels - Chairman (Former Queen’s Commissionaire in Fryslân province);
- Mr Matthias Schmale (Under Secretary General for Programme Services, IFRC);
- Mr Cees Breederveld (Director General Netherlands Red Cross Society)
