We are immediately looking for a:  

Junior Researcher, Heat Communication 

Envisaged start date: As soon as possible for a period of 2 months (40 hrs per week). 

Guidance notes on heat communication through media relations in the cities in South Asia  

The overall aim of developing a media relation for heat communication guidance note is to build the capacity of the municipal officials responsible for emergency services by capitalizing on the different types of media platforms (e.g., traditional/social media) for heat warning, public messaging, awareness generation and heat-health education; through which heat risks can be reduced in the cities in South Asia. 

The Junior Researcher must be enrolled in a university programme for the entire duration of the placement (two months) and have a background in Communication/Climate Risk or Disaster Communication/Climate Policy/ Climate Risk Management/Environmental Journalism
