  Climate & Conflict

The Climate Centre’s conflict work focuses on the intersection of climate change and armed conflict, where combined risks worsen food insecurity, health inequalities, and access to essential services. It supports organisations such as the ICRC in integrating climate risk into humanitarian operations through research, policy, and capacity building. The Centre also develops tools and approaches for disaster risk reduction and anticipatory action in fragile settings, helping practitioners better understand and respond to complex, overlapping risks affecting vulnerable populations.
