Ramiz specializes in the intersection of cities, climate, and communities. With over a decade of experience engaging with local governments in more than 30 cities worldwide, he supports the advancement of subnational governance, humanitarian action, and transformative development. He holds multiple master’s degrees in environmental management, international cooperation and urban development. Since joining the Climate Centre in 2019, Ramiz has been involved in urban programs focused on extreme heat, anticipatory action, coastal cities’ resilience, youth-led actions and WASH.
