  Locally led adaptation

The Climate Centre’s resilience work focuses on strengthening community resilience as a key pathway to local climate adaptation. It supports initiatives that integrate disaster risk reduction, climate change, and environmental management, such as the Partners for Resilience alliance. The Centre also contributes to international programmes like Pathways2Resilience, helping communities scale up adaptation efforts. It develops tools, resources, and training—such as the Climate Training Kit—to help organisations better anticipate, prepare for, and respond to climate-related risks at the local level.
